The revered Shirali Maha Ganapathi Mahamaya Temple is an ancient Gowda Saraswat Brahmin (GSB) Samaj Temple, located in quiet and serene town of Shirali in the southern part of Bhatkal Taluq, Uttar Kannada District of Karnataka State.


Rituals
Today, the Maha Ganapathi Mahamaya Temple at Shirali conducts various pujas including Ganayaga, Ganahoma, Chandikahavana, Rathothsava and Kaalavadhi Mahostavas with at most reverence and devotion with congregation of Devotees from far and near. The Rathotsav or the Car Festival is celebrated during the Margashira Shudda Navami (in November or December months). The important events during rathotsava include, pete utsava of Mahaganapathi on Margashira Shudda Chaturthi and Mahamaya on Margashira Shudda Ashtami, ratri utsava during night and okuli on Margashira Shudda Dashami. The temple Sevas, Offerings, Kanike could be offered online through the banking accounts of the temple and also the online payment link provided through this website and receipts could be generated online for future reference. The Prasad of various poojas would be sent to Devotees by post once the Seva is completed
